Healthy Shower Recipes

As the days get closer and the pressure to fit into that wedding dress grows, so do all the wedding events that make it harder and harder to stick to your healthy choices and not pack on any extra pounds before the big day.

I decided to to go in search of a few healthy food recipes online that would be good to have on hand for any of us girls who have ever had to throw a shower! These options are not only calorie friendly, but are cute and fun for any party!

*I am in no way, shape, or form a nutritionist, I just looked up some yummy recipes to share!*

The classic: Fruite Kabob

Not really a recipe but I thought I'd include it, well.... because everything taste better on a stick!

Merry Berry Bubbly Recipe (http://www.free-gourmet-recipes.com)

Combining champagne for the adults, or sparkling cider for the children, with frozen blueberries, raspberries, or peach slices, the Merry Berry Bubbly is sophisticated and surprisingly simple, eash made with three ingredients of frozen berries and a special syrup.

Fill a champagne flute high with frozen berries from your grocery freezer section. Not only do they create a colourful festive look, but most importantly they act as the coolest ice cubes. Pour two tablespoons of Torani syrup over the berris and slower top with champagne.

My Winter Wonderland - Ashley and Adam Hayward Febrary 27, 2010

It was an amazing day and I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful husband! We were married on February 27, 2010 and lucked out with the last snow fall of the season! We had a beautiful backdrop for outdoor pictures, and our ceremony took place at the Ancaster Old Mill in front of a roaring fire. The ceremony was short and and sheet and the reverend did such a great job at performing a beautiful service.

Afterward we went outside with the wedding party to take pictures. Our friends were great braving the cold with us to get the outdoor shots in the snow!

The reception took place at Carmen's Banquet Hall and it was a party! There was delicious food, good music and entertainment provided by a flambe show before dinner. The guests seem to really enjoy themselves and the dance floor was alive that night!

A Little Taste of Lemonade!

My cousin recently got engaged, this inspiration board is dedicated to her! Her soon-to-be has a little thing for the colour yellow, which is apparent by looking at his yellow charging down the street! For as long as I can remember, he's been talking about wearing a yellow suite for his wedding. Now, I am really not a fan of this yellow suite business, but I really like how my cousin took her fiance's love for bright colours and thought about having a citrus themed wedding. Running with her idea I thought I'd put together this inspiration board. I'm excited to see how her wedding comes together and can't wait to see the final choices that they use for their special day!
